Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa refused to take the blame after watching his team suffer a 4-1 home loss to Leicester on Monday night.
Youri Tielemans struck twice as the Foxes recorded an emphatic victory at Elland Road to move to a point from Liverpool, leaders of the Premier League.
Jamie Vardy was involved in the Foxes’ first three goals, setting up Harvey Barnes in two minutes for Game 1 after a woeful backward pass from Robin Koch.
Tielemans scored Leicester’s second goal, taking advantage of a rebound from Vardy’s diving header, before a Stuart Dallas cross flew into the net for Leeds after halftime.
But Leeds’ response in the second half was stumped when Vardy scored a third for Leicester. Tielemans then scored from the spot in injury time.

After the game, Bielsa admitted that his team paid for his bad start to play.
He said BBC Sport: “In the first 30 minutes we defended badly and later we did not create enough danger. That is one of the main responsibilities of the manager.
“I’m not taking the blame, I’m just saying that the players were not distributed correctly. The players are disappointed.
“Every game is an opportunity to recover, especially after a loss.
“We had an hour to attack the last 15 minutes of the first half and the entire second half. But we could not cause any harm or damage to their defense.
“We didn’t create enough chances given the possession we had during this hour. The team lacked impact.
“We knew we were going to face a challenge like we did. The help I gave the players to defend better and attack better, I did not give it ”.
Dallas sets a landmark in Leeds
Stuart Dallas became the first Northern Ireland player to score for Leeds United in the top flight since Nigel Worthington against West Ham in December 1994.
He told Sky Sports: “There is a lot we can learn from this game. There are many things we can work on.
“In the first half we played below the standards we set ourselves.”
