After a week of busy beaches and parks flooded with sun worshipers, the weather is ready for a dramatic turn this weekend.
Thanks to a cold front coming from the North Sea, temperatures seem to drop throughout the Easter weekend.
By Easter Monday, parts of Essex could see some winter scenes.
Snow could fall in parts of the county, and other areas will see some sleet and hail.
It’s an unusual sight to see it so late in the year, especially just days after the country recorded its highest temperature in March.
Regarding the next few days, Jo Farrow, forecaster for NetWeather, said: “Although the afternoon and evening of Easter Sunday there will be rain, sleet and snow that will work its way south over Scotland and Northern Ireland, to the north from England and North Wales with freezing temperatures.. “
So will the south of England see any snow?
We watched when BBC Weather said that every town in Essex would get sleet or snow, and this is what they said.
