Despite the fact that Diogo Jota has just arrived from the Wolves, Klopp is said to be still interested in signing Sarr so he can add depth to a team that will be looking to retain the Premier League and go for Champions League glory again.
Sarr came to Watford for a club record of £ 30 million last summer, but was unable to prevent his new club from descending to the Championship with six goals and the same number of assists in all competitions recorded.
Three of them came in a February loss to Liverpool at Vicarage Road in Sarr’s best performance of the season, two goals in a 3-0 win that ended an undefeated start to the season for Klopp’s side.
Senegalese international Sarr operates primarily on the right wing and would add depth to Villa’s front ranks, which has already been boosted by the arrivals of Ollie Watkins and Bertrand Traore this summer.
