Asda’s customers are furious after discovering that their holiday food deliveries were missing the Christmas turkey.
Shoppers were told that the turkeys are now out of stock, even though they ordered the crucial Christmas staple ahead of time.
The retail giant has apologized to individual customers affected by the bug.
But customers are still panicked and disappointed without a substitute for their Christmas party, Hull Live reports.
Many have taken to Twitter to express their outrage after seeing the turkey missing from their delivery or clicking and picking up orders.

This is an additional blow to customers in parts of the East and South East of England who have had Christmas canceled due to Level 4 restrictions.
The new rules also put an end to current purchases six days before Christmas, and only essential stores are allowed to remain open.
One customer tweeted: “To be honest, a bit confused. He ordered a small turkey wreath before the December 11 deadline, to deliver on December 23.
“Am I going to modify my order to add more items and Turkey is out of stock? I think we have enough problems this year without you adding more.”
While another was appalled after being offered a “one-time refund” for almost all of his Christmas grocery store, including cranberry sauce, Yorkshire puddings and frozen bagel.
They wrote: “Disgusting service from Asda.
“Christmas shipping ordered three weeks ago. Refund only for my turkey, cranberry sauce, pate, rose chocolates, full cheese board, Yorkshire puddings, all freezer items including roscón and desserts. I am dismayed.” .
While another customer was left with not just a stray turkey but potatoes as well despite placing the Christmas order of £ 200 in November.
They said: “First time I use Asda for online shopping for £ 200 + Christmas shop for older relatives, ordered in November.
“A few hours before delivery, get a note saying that all but six items have been replaced or out of stock, including turkey and potatoes. I will not use Asda again!”
Both click-and-collect and home delivery orders seem to have been affected, with some customers saying they ordered their turkey well in advance.
One person added: “Imagine clicking and collecting from Asda last week to collect your Christmas dinner stuff today, to now be told that your damn turkey is not available.
“Of all the things that are missing from Asda’s holiday food drive until the collection, it’s the damn turkey.”
Another joked, seeming to downplay the situation: “It looks like it will be a vegan Christmas this year, as Asda has removed the turkey from my click-and-pick order.
“I’m happy, but I’m not sure the kids are. The point of pre-ordering was?”
One unfortunate customer said the mistake marks the third year in a row that they haven’t received their Christmas turkey delivery.
They said, “Well I can’t even believe I’m writing this, but for the third year in a row they haven’t delivered our Christmas turkey.
“Our delivery is today and the turkey wreath is not available and there is no replacement. We can no longer change our holiday order to add it.”
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the Level 4 restrictions “with great regret” on Saturday, effectively canceling Christmas gatherings for millions of families in London and the South East.
It means that households cannot travel or mingle indoors with the exception of the current support bubbles amid fears that a new strain of Covid-19 is spreading uncontrollably.
Relaxed Christmas restrictions for the rest of England, Scotland and Wales were eased, allowing three households to meet on Christmas Day alone instead of the previously promised five days.
While the five-day Christmas bubble remains in Northern Ireland.
