ARSENE WENGER has sensationally offered to RETURN to Arsenal if the club asks Mikel Arteta in trouble.
This season, rookie boss Arteta has led the Gunners to their worst start to a Premier League campaign after taking over in December 2019.

Arsenal have scored just 20 points in their first 16 games this season, with the club far behind at 13th and averaging a meager goal per game.
And Wenger, who spent 22 years in charge before leaving at the end of the 2017-18 season, has admitted that he would be willing to help if called up.
Wenger, who won three Premier League titles in North London, said on the Men In Blazers podcast: “If you need me, I will help you.
“But I don’t expect that, no.

“I don’t want anything. Time is a good doctor, you know?”
Wenger had previously called Arteta “lucky” to land a great job with no management experience, but he believed he deserved a chance thanks to his playing days at the club.
In October, the 71-year-old Frenchman said: “He is lucky to have entered a great club right away.”
“You usually have to work ten years to get that position.
“But since he played for the club and was a good player, he had his chance. I wish him the best.
“I left the club in a position for my fans to do better and the club now has the financial resources to win the championship.
“Mikel had a passion for the game and great motivation, a good focus and a desire to do well.
“You could see the ingredients there, and he had control and influence over the other players.”
Wenger has not returned to management since leaving Arsenal after 22 years.
The Frenchman took on a role at FIFA, working as head of world football development.
Wenger has been linked to various jobs in recent years, including the vacancy in Barcelona following the firing of Quique Setien and Fulham twice.
But he has yet to venture back into management after his incredible tenure at Arsenal was marred at the end of his reign.

In October, Wenger admitted that “maybe he was Arsenal’s boss for too long.”
When asked if he thought he stayed longer than his welcome at Arsenal, Wenger told The Times: “Hearing that question makes me think, ‘Yes.’
“Maybe I stayed too long… I don’t know. But he was committed like the first day.
“I think I guided the club through the most difficult period in a very successful way.
“At some point people say you are too old, but they don’t really notice what you do.
“I served the club as much as I could.”
Wenger had a year left on his contract with Arsenal when he resigned, and the manager admitted that he would have “respected” him, but the club bosses wanted him to leave.
The Frenchman continued: “The club thought it best that I stop … I had always lived with the idea that this could happen.
“The fans were no longer happy … some of them.
“You can understand that at some point, 22 years old, people want a change.”
