Having spent the first half circling teenage winger Luke Thomas, which included winning a series of fouls that ultimately led to the 19-year-old being booked and substituted at halftime, Pepe continued to torture the opposition.
In the second half, Reddit fans picked up on a moment where Pepe outwitted Marc Albrighton and Caglar Soyuncu, then charged inside to launch a fresh attack for the Gunners.
Pepe’s performances this season have often drawn criticism, but there has been a significant upturn in form recently, with the club’s record signing scoring in four of his last seven starts.
