Leeds United CEO Angus Kinnear has issued an enthusiastic assessment of the club’s transfer activity, as well as offering an update on a major deadline day deal.
The whites have been reinforced this summer with the signings of Robin Koch, Rodrigo Moreno and Diego Llorente, in addition to securing a series of highly valued assets for the lower categories.
However, the deal is not closed, with Raphinha set to arrive from Rennes to provide additional firepower to the attack and fill the space on the right side that Marcelo Bielsa was looking for.
Leeds’s work in the market has received much praise and, unsurprisingly, Kinnear is delighted with the work that has been completed in the market.
On the Raphinha affair, although she is still not counting her eggs due to the previous Deadline Day drama, she is confident that the deal will take place.
“We believe that we have had a very good window, we are really satisfied with the business we have done. Both from a youth perspective, re-signing the players who were the core of the team last year and hiring some of the best international talent at the same time to complement what we already have, “he told Sky Sports News.

Kinnear also provided his perspective on the season so far, where Leeds have made a huge impression after their return to the top flight as a free scorer.
“We are delighted to be back in the Premier League, it is where we belong and it has taken too long to get there. We love it right now, the team has done great performances.
“They have not surprised us, they have attacked the games with the football that we expect from them. We are disappointed that the fans cannot be here to share it with us, but we know they will be back soon.”
