An elderly couple was reportedly left in tears after their car was wrecked by a gang of thugs during the night of Mischief.
Around 10 cars are believed to have been attacked on George Road in Hoylake on Friday night.
In Wallasey, several other cars were also damaged as gangs of youth caused trouble in Merseyside.
A neighbor told the couple the unfortunate news and condemned those involved.
Posting to a local Facebook group, the woman said: “I was just on Hoylake, George Road, and my car and at least nine others have broken windows.”
“Nothing has been taken, just senseless vandalism.
“I had to knock on the door and tell a man in his 80s that his rear window had been smashed, he was devastated.
