AJ Pritchard’s family has attacked some of his fellow campers by liking the accusations of being “fake” before he got evicted from I’m A Celebrity … Get me out of here!
While AJ was at the castle camp, his family is believed to have taken over his social media to promote his stay on the ITV show.
The 26-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing pro had a rocky relationship with EastEnders star Shane Richie.
The couple had clashed after the professional dancer felt the actor was not doing his best at camp, after the household chores were shared.
In a field that was quite harmonious for most of the series, the ‘fight’ between Shane and AJ were the only words of discontent and conflict that the ITV producers were able to hold onto.
AJ’s time at Gwrych Castle camp came to an end on Wednesday, when he was turned away by spectators along with gold-winning athlete Sir Mo Farah.
Before leaving the castle, it seems that his family has criticized some of his fellow campers, accusing them of being “fake” and “playing with the cameras”.
The Strictly star’s Twitter account liked a tweet from a fan before the evictions, who made the accusations and said they would shut down the show if they gave AJ the chance.
The tweet he liked said: “If both @Mo_Farah and @ Aj11Ace are going on the double eviction tonight, don’t think I’ll bother watching the rest of the show as they’re the only ones I’m tuning in to tbh. More genuine and down to earth, not playing cameras all the time #ImACeleb #ajpritchard “
This would be followed by AJ with a little chat with Shane Richie during his exit interview with Ant and Dec, in which he said he was “frustrated” by Shane’s actions.
He hit Shane, saying, “If you’re going to do a job, do it right.”
When asked if that had frustrated him, he replied, “Maybe, I’m not going to lie!”
AJ added that he felt the situation could have been handled in a better way than it was.
He continued: “I think the thing is to solve problems instead of letting them get worse.”
