After weeks of debate, Che adams (£ 6.0m) finally gets a chance to prove himself against his colleague Danny Ings (£ 8.5 million).
The former Birmingham City striker has been named to Southampton’s starting lineup for a trip to Crystal Palace after having beaten Ings in the last three 2019/20 games.
The Saints back-four, which has been the target of many Fantasy managers this summer, is mostly as expected, with Ryan bertrand (£ 5.0 million), Jan Bednarek (£ 4.5 million), Jack Stephens (£ 5.0 million) and Kyle Walker-Peters (£ 4.5 million) vs. Alex McCarthy (4.5 million pounds sterling).
Will smallbone (£ 4.5m) go in for the wounded Stuart armstrong (£ 5.5m), offering another inexpensive midfield route to the Southampton team alongside Oriol Romeu (£ 4.5m), which is paired with James Ward-Prowse (£ 6.0 million) in the center of the park.
A large portion of Fantasy Football Scout readers will be delighted to see Tyrick mitchell (£ 4.0m) gave an opening on the left side.
The youngster has dominated that position during the preseason, although he came with the warning of Palace’s injury problems.
However, despite the return of James McCarthy (£ 4.5 million) to central midfield, displacing Jairo Riedewald (£ 4.5 million), Roy Hodgson has kept Mitchell in the starting lineup. Meanwhile, Riedewald has missed a place in the squad for the day.
As expected, Wilfried zaha (£ 7m) starts early as an out-of-position midfielder, and Fantasy managers may want to keep an eye on the fact that Eberechi Eze (£ 6.0m) is on the bench next to Luka Milivojevic (£ 6.0 million) and Michy Batshuayi (6.0 million pounds sterling).
