This morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby laughed after Holly’s teleprompter failed on Monday’s show.

And Phil joked on the set when Holly burst out laughing after her live mistake.

After the duo completed their competition segment, Holly said, “Right, we are talking to Joey Essex in a moment, but before we do it, another chance for you to win.”

Then she paused, clearly waiting for Phil to speak later, but he remained silent, then laughed when Holly realized that it was still her turn to speak.

After an awkward pause, surprised-looking Holly added, “And there’s a prize of over £ 135,000 …” before collapsing into laughter.

Phil raised his eyebrows at her when Holly gasped and covered her mouth, exclaiming, “I just read a bunch of numbers!”

She continued, “One hundred and thirty-five thousand pounds at stake and Josie has all the details.”

Phil jokingly walked away, frustrated.

Phillip then jokingly burst onto the set as if he had just given up.

Viewers were shocked at the beginning of the show when a heartwarming poem about coronavirus and blockade was read by its author, Tom Roberts.

It included the lines: “It was a world of waste and wonder, of poverty and abundance, before we understood why the 2020 retrospective.”

Holly gasped when she realized she had made a mistake.

The poem suggested that families are now talking to each other and that greedy companies have become less important to society.

He spoke about the impact of climate change and industrialization, as well as about our increasing dependence on technology.

Tom said he hoped that people in the world would become fairer, kinder and more sustainable after the pandemic ended.

Viewers turned to Twitter to praise Tom for his beautiful words, in one script: “Exquisite poem poignant, which has captured the zeitgeist. Let him inform the world to change our ways once and for all.” 2020 #PandemicPoem by #TomRoberts@this morning He started his show with him and instantly made me cry. Thank you #TomRoberts
