Good Morning Britain Dr. Hilary called the new coronavirus antibody tests a “game changer” on the show alongside Lorraine Kelly on Monday.
He explained why the new tests are different from previous attempts, and called the advance “good news.”
It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to address the nation on Sunday to reveal how the government intends to begin easing the blockade.
Dr. Hilary said that the new antibody tests do not give a false negative, which means that they will never show that someone does not have the virus if they have it or if they have.
