The Premier League is offered an incredible escape route from Plan B, to end the season in the sunny Australian city of Perth.

Concerned bosses are trying to find ways to play the past 92 games in England, with a neutral master plan in place, but they constantly face obstacles.

Gary Neville suggested that Prem end his season abroad … and now Perth has offered to help.

Television expert Gary Neville said the best flight should end behind closed doors abroad.

And now English agent Gary Williams is coming up with the amazing alternative.

Williams, who lives in the capital of Western Australia, was endorsed by the local Senator from Perth.

He is also in contact with the Australian government and the Ministry of Sports to obtain their support for the flashy idea.

The Prem has already been put on, while several clubs have also been alerted and are happy to do so.

A club official said: “We do world tours in preseason. This is no different. And the weather in Australia is ideal right now. “

Gary Williams’ eight-point proposal for the Prem

  • Fly all 20 squadrons to Perth. Airlines would be delighted with the custom and are available.
  • Place them in their own hotels, with facilities, and isolate for up to fifteen days if necessary. Perth is currently on “off-season” tourism anyway.
  • Play in various important places in the city, behind closed doors or even with a limited number of local fans.
  • Reduce the number of medical tests required, possibly just two total, instead of the twice-weekly ones.
  • Eliminate the need for police to control closed places in England when playing games.
  • End worries about travel arrangements and hotel stays. Clubs would use the same bases, near the grounds, at all times.
  • Allow families to travel towards the end of the campaign to give them much-needed rest in a safe environment.
  • Easy for TV coverage, with various start times to suit English times.

Perth has four main sport venues that can be used: Optus Stadium (capacity 65,000), Perth Oval (20,500), WACA Cricket (24,500) and Joondalup Arena (16,000).

Brummie Williams said: “I have had conversations with contacts in Premier League clubs and they like the idea.

“I have also spoken to government officials and they are excited. We are talking again this week.

“Everyone is safe here. The government has lifted many restrictions.

“We are sitting in groups of ten, we can walk and the beaches are open. We have had four new cases in the last ten days.”

Australia has reported 93 Covid-19 deaths, compared to more than 28,000 in the UK.

Perth prides itself on the claim of being the “most isolated city in the world” and would be a spinner for the local economy.

Perth State Senator Glenn Sterle added: “I am looking at what is happening in England with a heavy heart. We want to help.”

Premier League teams could end up playing the rest of this season's games in Australia if Gary Williams' plans get the go-ahead.

This is the center of the sports universe in Australia. We have fresh air and good weather. It would be ideal

Perth State Senator Glenn Sterle

Sterle dismissed fear of a Prem invasion causing health problems, saying: “We have almost no new cases. It would simply be a quarantine case for our friends when they arrive and then we’re up and running.

“When Gary first mentioned it, I thought it was a wonderful idea.

“I’m glad you’re getting the same response from the people in the game that you called.”

“This is the center of the sports universe in Australia. We have fresh air and good weather. It would be ideal “.

Government guidelines released by the Australian Institute of Sports on Friday said elite sports should restart “in a spectator-free environment,” and that the rugby league will restart on May 28.

If the Australian government is happy with the health aspect, then the doors will open wide.

Other countries have been suggested as Prem hosts, including Qatar and Malta.

The Maltese idea has its drawbacks, as it can be difficult to control crowds and those fans trying to travel to games. It will also be very hot in the summer.

Neville, 45, is in the camp supporting a move to Malta.

He has strong ties to the country and experts revealed that he is pressing for them.

The former Manchester United and England defender and his friends have a hotel on the island where he usually goes on vacation, including a trip when he proposed.

He also promised that it would be the first place he would go after closing.
