INJURED Joe Wicks has revealed that he will not be able to demonstrate exercises as the nation’s physical education teacher following surgery on his hand, with his wife Rosie taking office on Monday.
The Body Coach star, 33, said he was bringing in the “most popular substitute teacher of all time” to show us all how to do the moves.
He said the 28-year-old model would take over the next session and said, “I really need to let my hand rest.”
Joe was still in the hospital this afternoon while recovering from surgery on his infected hand, posting images of him digging into a potato baked by the NHS while explaining that he would be staying there for another night.
The star claimed that organizing the show would put Rosie dazzling “totally out of her comfort zone,” but assured her that she would still be planning the sessions and appearing on camera while she did the exercises.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “I had to call a supply master for Monday’s #pewithjoe 👩🏼🏫😍 She is my beautiful wife Rosie ☺️.
“She kindly agreed to come over to the live broadcast with me to demonstrate the movements, as I really need to rest my hand for a few days now that the cables have been removed.”
“She is totally out of her comfort zone, so now I have a lot of love and respect for her.”
“She is always there for me when I need her most and she knows how much it means to me that she doesn’t let anyone down with these daily workouts.”
“I will continue to lead the session and train everyone, but Rosie will show them the exercises. We wish her good luck in her first physical education class 🌏❤️.”
Joe and Rosie, an English glamor model and ex-girl, started dating Joe in 2016 and married in June last year.
He has been posting regular updates from the hospital, today explaining that his surgery for a persistent hand injury that had erupted had been successful.
He said, “Surgery complete. All cables are disconnected. The infection cleared. They gave me a general anesthetic that was amazing, so I felt nothing and it was sparko.”
