In a fun twist of events, Infinity Ward is duplicating certain changes from the latest update. The developers had made some significant changes to Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare just a day ago. One of the most important changes was to replace Warzone reward contracts with the most wanted contracts. However, they have now returned to reward contracts.
As we reported right after the last update, fans were furious when Infinity Ward removed the popular Bounty Contracts feature. Instead, they introduced a new type of contract called Most Wanted in Battle Royale and Plunder. With Most Wanted, players can place a contact on their own head, making them the target of any other player on the map. If the players survived the duration of the contract, they could successfully revive their entire squad.
However, shortly after the update, fans turned to social media to express their disappointment. It wasn’t that fans hated the Most Wanted contract, but rather the removal of the Bounty Contracts. See our full report on it here.

When Nadeshot says something about Call of Duty, even the developers take notice.

Infinity Ward: we will eliminate the rewards in season 3

@InfinityWard Hello,
Please add rewards again. Literally zero people asked to have them removed.
Thank you,

Are the rewards completely removed? I thought they were super well balanced. The team being hunted has enough time to post to a building or roof and defend itself until time runs out, also knowing how close the threat is. High risk High reward for hunting players. https://t.co/RHRpZiQp2B

Reward contracts return to Call of Duty Warzone
It turns out that Infinity Ward was listening to fans. They have reversed this decision just 24 hours after making it.
In addition to recovering the reward contracts, they have also made a few other minor changes. Take a look at all the changes below.

This isn’t even the first time that Infinity Ward has revoked a change in Call of Duty Warzone after the fan rampage. Previously, fans were unhappy when developers removed the Trios playlist. After a barrage of complaints and negative comments about the change, the developers backed down on the decision and brought Trios back.
While Warzone has been a huge success since its launch in March, developers have had to work hard to keep the user base satisfied. One big problem that remains is the large number of hackers who annoy honest games in the shooting game.
What do you think about the most wanted contract episode? I’m glad that the developers decided to get the reward contracts back.
