Meghan Markle will never return to the UK due to her fallout with the Royal Family and her ‘low popularity’ with the British public, a royal author claimed.

A revealing interview with American chat show star Oprah Winfrey with awkward revelations about royalty has widened the rift with the family.

Meghan will now not be returning to the UK because she feels she has lost a lot of public support, said royal author Anna Pasternak.

She told Fox News: “Will Meghan Markle return to the UK?

“My speculative answer would be no, not if she can help it.

Actual author Anna Pasternak claimed the couple seemed ‘anti-British’ speaking to Oprah

“Sadly, I cannot see her become a loved and cherished member of the Royal Family with the unified respect and adoration of the British people.

“I think that ship has sailed.”

Royals keep family matters secret as much as possible, so the decision to speak to Oprah will not have gone well for The Firm.

There are also a number of claims in the interview that have been disputed, including the fact that they were married three days before Windsor’s wedding.

Since then, the Archbishop of Canterbury confirmed that this was not the case.

The claim that Meghan’s son Archie would not receive the title of Prince has also been disputed, as existing rules mean that he would not become prince until Charles becomes king.

Pasternak feels that the British public was angry at Meghan and Harry because they felt they were insulting traditions, and polls seem to support this idea.

The couple made claims about the royal family that appear to be inaccurate.

She said: “A lot of people feel that the interview was a total lack of respect for the monarchy and, in a sense, for the British.

“Because the monarchy is part of the British psyche.

“So this attack on the monarchy can also be seen as a British attack.”
