The journalist’s house is isolated at all points by plants and vegetation, giving the couple the privacy they longed for for their interview.
In pictures of the interior of his home, King has multiple works of art and sculptures along with flower arrangements, with pops of color with green doors and ceilings.
Although King did not confirm the report, he did reveal to CBS ‘This morning after weeks of speculation that the interview was not filmed at the couple’s residence and was instead “filmed at a friend’s house.”
King added: “People said I was at Oprah’s house or Harry and Meghan’s, [but] it was at a friend’s house. “
The journalist also said that Winfrey believes that the interview is the “best” thing she has done in her life, adding: “However, she said it was not just her, it was because the conversation was apparently very sincere with all three.”
Ever since images of Harry and Meghan’s conversation were teased last month, people have been admiring the surroundings of the interview as the couple were filmed sitting in the sun with a beautiful manicured garden behind them.
The two-hour interview will air on Sunday March 7 on CBS, before airing on ITV in the UK on Monday March 8.
