West Bromwich Albion missed two great opportunities to take all three points from Burnley despite playing over an hour with 10 men.
Referee Mike Dean sent off the Semi Ajayi Bags defender for a deliberate hand-off after consulting the VAR 30 minutes into the Premier League match.
The visitors nearly achieved an unlikely winner in the 71st minute when Mbaye Diagne hit the top of the bar after a dizzying run.
And moments later Matheus Pereira saw his shot cleared off the line by Burnley’s James Tarkowski.
The result leaves West Brom in 19th place, 11 points behind safety, while Burnley remains in 15th place, nine points behind the bottom three.
