Beloved actress Tanya Roberts is still alive, her manager revealed just hours after he and her husband announced that she had died.
The representative, Mike Pingel, issued a press release Sunday saying that Roberts, who is best known for appearing opposite Roger Moore in the 1985 Bond film A View To Kill, had died at age 65 on Saturday.
Pingel said Roberts was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve after collapsing at her home in the Hollywood Hills.
The representative said she learned of the tragic news of Roberts’ death through her husband Lance O’Brien, who claimed he visited her in hospital before she passed away.
As he held her in her last moments, he opened his eyes. I could see her beautiful eyes for the last time. Tanya had the most beautiful eyes, ‘O’Brien told TMZ.
But in a strange twist on Monday, Pingel told the tabloid that the hospital called O’Brien shortly after 10 a.m. and informed him that his wife was still alive.
Pingel offered little explanation for the confusion, simply saying that Lance “really believed that Tanya was dead.”
The representative also said Roberts’s condition is’ serious’ and told people: ‘Currently, he does not look good. Keep it in your prayers. ‘
DailyMail.com has reached out to Pingel and Cedars-Sinai for clarification.

The representative, Mike Pingel (he left with Roberts), issued a press release Sunday saying the actress had died at 65 on Saturday. But in a strange twist on Monday, Pingel announced that Roberts’ husband informed him that she was still alive.

TMZ said it heard from multiple sources close to the family that O’Brien called them with the news of Roberts death on Sunday.
The outlet originally reported that Roberts collapsed after he returned home after walking his dog on December 24.
She was rushed to a hospital and placed on a ventilator, but “it never got better,” Pingel said, adding that her “death” was not related to COVID-19.
Pingel (left with Roberts) did not explain what caused the confusion about his health status
Before his collapse, insiders said Roberts appeared “perfectly healthy” and was participating in video chats with his fans.
In his original statement to TMZ, O’Brien said that he had not been allowed to visit his wife in the hospital due to coronavirus protocols, but that staff made an exception when her condition worsened on Saturday.
O’Brien’s statement suggested that he was with Roberts when she died, but apparently that was not the case.
It’s unclear when O’Brien and Roberts got married, but reports indicated that the couple lived together at their home in the Hollywood Hills.
