A murder investigation was launched after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death.
Thames Valley Police received reports of a knife attack in the Bugs Bottom fields in the Emmer Green area of Reading around 3.50pm Sunday.

“There will be a very sizeable police presence in the St Barnabas Road and Gravel Hill area for several days, and we have great surveillance of the scene.”
The public is urged to contact the police with any information.
Reading Local Police Area Commander Superintendent Nick John added: “I would like to assure the community that we are not leaving a stone unturned in this investigation and that we have deployed a large number of police and personnel to the area.”
