David De Gea
He saved well from John McGinn at 0-0 and dominated his area well. He made another save in the second half. Big savings in the end. 8
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
He got over a dodgy start to get his first assist of the season with a spirited surge and a cross to Anthony Martial. Off for the goal but expiated with a distant stick clearance. 7
Eric Bailly
He continued his good form by starting a fourth straight United game for the first time since September 2017. A better complement to Harry Maguire than Victor Lindelof. Massive block at the end. 8
Harry maguire
He sports a more impressive midfield alongside Bailly’s rhythm and was once again authoritative. However, caught by the goal. 6
Luke shaw
Not used as much as he should have been in the first half, but more natural in his wing surges. He kicked in the second. 7
Scott McTominay
Eclipsed by his fellow central midfielders and not so determined with his passing. He got worse in the second half and predictably substituted. 5
Fred
Another good display in a midfield combination that was only used once before this season. Undaunted in possession and approached. 8
Paul pogba
If Pogba played like this every week, United fans wouldn’t care what his agent said. This display has to be the benchmark before the inevitable summer sale. 8
Bruno fernandes
He created some half chances in his sixth start in 15 days and scored his 15th penalty for United. He will appreciate the five-day gap until the City tie. 7
Marcus rashford
Back to the right, but largely frustrated against Matt Targett and his selfish streak was evident. He improved in the second half. 6
Anthony Martial
He got a save from Emiliano Martínez before cunningly nodding on his first league goal at home since July. Still too quiet too often. 7
Subs
Nemanja Matic
An update from McTominay. 6
Daniel james
Ran. 5
Axel Tuanzebe
It came in extra time. N / A
Manager
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
He renewed the team and got Pogba’s best performance of the entire season on the left. 7
