The Gunners posted consecutive Premier League victories for the second time this season following a 1-0 win against Brighton last night.
Alexandre Lacazette scored the only goal of the match: finding the back of the net just 21 seconds after replacing Gabriel Martinelli at the Emirates.
The result lifted the North London team to 13th place in the table ahead of their trip to West Brom on Saturday.
In other news, Arsenal is reported to be interested in signing Real Madrid playmaker Isco on loan in January.
According to The Telegraph, the talks are at an early stage, but Mikel Arteta is desperate to add creativity to their side.
However, they face competition from LaLiga Sevilla, as former Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui appears to be meeting the player.
Meanwhile, Arteta is said to be also interested in the Sevillian teacher Joan Jordan.
Sevilla have put a 55 million pound release clause on the active midfielder, but they are keen to hear offers of around 32 million pounds.
And finally, Sokratis Papastathopoulos could finally be leaving the Emirates with Fenerbahce interested in taking over the Greek international.
The 32-year-old missed out on Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League teams for the first half of the season and is approaching the Emirates’ starting gate.
Turkish media Prisaiet says the defender, who is out of contract in the summer, has started talks with Fenerbahce Istanbul.
