“It doesn’t help to hear the noise. I think yves [Bissouma] He has taken some steps and has improved, but he still has something to do and that is where the work and the focus is for us.
“I think he has had to develop his role and learn some aspects of the game and improve in certain areas. But it’s a credit to him that he did it and it means he can help us in that area. But I think he can still improve, which is good. “
Bissouma enjoyed another good showing against West Ham on Sunday, when the Seagulls drew 2-2, and Arsenal fans demanded that the club make a move for him in January.
It remains to be seen whether or not Bissouma will be a Brighton player in early February.
But if Arsenal are in the market for him, he will have to fend off stiff competition for his signature.
