The Midlands is facing a yellow weather alert for snow and ice starting Monday.
Experts have issued a weather advisory for the region, which will be in effect from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 28.
However, the detailed forecasts do not appear to be predicting any major downpours at this time.
The Met Office said rain can turn to snow, which along with widespread ice, could disrupt some travel and public services.
