UK coronavirus hospital deaths skyrocket to 301, and 114 died on Christmas Day

The death toll from coronavirus hospital in England and Wales rose by 301, and 114 died on Christmas Day in England alone.

Overall, there were 231 deaths in England, but significant delays in reporting are expected due to the festive period.
