Arsenal fans have been crying after Mesut Ozil’s latest Q&A on social media.

The Gunners outcast, who has been dumped by chief Mikel Arteta, received questions from Gunners supporters on his Twitter account Wednesday night.

It’s something he has done frequently in recent months, especially since he has been left out of Arsenal’s 25-man Premier League squad for what Arteta has described as “football reasons.”

That explanation has been hard for fans to accept, with his team languishing at 16th in the Premier League and suffering from a lack of creativity that they know Ozil can deliver.

Another man that Arsenal fans clearly miss is Wales star Aaron Ramsey, who dropped a free transfer in 2019 to join Serie A giants Juventus.

In his question and answer session, Ozil was asked about his former teammate, and his answer washed away the old wounds of Gunners fans.

“Amazing player, good friend, he has been a fantastic teammate @aaronramsey“he tweeted.

The message caused great emotion among the Arsenal faithful.

Ramsey and Ozil were a good couple under Arsene Wenger, combining frequently to produce excellent football at the Emirates Stadium.

His style, creativity and cunning have been lacking with Arteta, who both played for the Frenchman in North London.

Ramsey is now with Juventus in Serie A and enjoying life in Italy.

Meanwhile, Ozil has been forced to consider that Arsenal have struggled at the top flight, with Arteta under pressure to change results.

When asked by a fan if he was happy at Arsenal, Ozil replied: “It’s a very difficult time for everyone at the club, not just me.

“The situation is frustrating for everyone. Of course, I wish I could help the team, especially now, but while I don’t have the opportunity, I just hope that we get better results very soon again.

“But let’s be positive.”
