Shocking crimes in Liverpool caught on camera have helped bring down “untouchable criminals”.
Footage filmed by witnesses and captured on CCTV has helped police bring to justice people who otherwise would have gotten away with it.
In some cases, the video has also helped warn other people about potential crimes they could be victims of.
The video that is shared on social media and goes viral has also helped raise awareness of the incidents that have occurred in Merseyside.
Earlier this month, dashcam footage of an evil thug kicked in the face for a bad dream was shared online.
As a result of the circulation of the video, within days the person responsible was identified, arrested and jailed for the attack.

Man who kicked a sleeper in the face and later claimed he was his friend
A man who kicked a sleeper in the face causing outrage claimed the two were friends and that the violence was sparked during a dispute over spice money.
Theo Maulba, 24, was seen in the images that circulated on social media first protesting angrily at the unknown man, who was wrapped in a sleeping bag, before kicking him.
Images of Maulba assaulting the man, apparently taken by a dashboard camera on December 9, went viral and sparked outrage on social media.
Maulba was later arrested and charged for the attack before being sent to jail for 16 weeks.
Teens slapped, kicked and ragged in Sefton Park by adult women

Mobile phone images circulated online in June 2020 showed a gang of women launching a series of attacks on a group of teenagers.
The video captured the women fighting the four victims, ages 18 and 19, in Sefton Park.
In the chaotic scenes, older women can be seen grabbing a younger girl’s hair while others in the group try to part them, yelling “get off her.”
A woman can be seen hitting a victim on the head with what appears to be a purse or mobile phone, while kicking and slapping is also carried out.
In August, Merseyside Police confirmed that three women, aged 27, 28 and 31, had received conditional warnings from adults for common assault and were ordered to pay a total of £ 600 in compensation divided among the four victims.
At the time, one of the girls attacked during the incident said the injuries they sustained included a black eye, a split lip and concussions.
“Absolute scruff” caught on camera looking at a woman’s pot

In January 2020, a woman was caught on the doorbell camera looking at a flowerpot on the door of a Wavertree.
Lex Edwards, 33, received an alert on his phone from the doorbell video camera and was shocked to find the images that appeared to show a woman trying to escape with her potted plant.
The bizarre incident shows a woman stopping in front of Lex’s house before bending down to look at the plant.
Then he seems to try to pick up the pot in order to take it away.
A friend then warns the woman in front of the camera and then quickly leaves the scene.
Sharing the images on Facebook, Lex said: “Yes, as your partner said, you are in front of the camera. One of many in my house and on my way.
“If anyone recognizes her, tell them to buy their own plants, you cheap idiot rat.”
Speaking to ECHO, he described the attempt to steal the pot as “pathetic”.
Thugs break down disabled woman’s door while she was sleeping

CCTV footage captured the moment when three men broke down the door of a disabled woman’s home while she was sleeping.
The victim, who lived in Poulton, was in bed when masked thugs approached her home in September 2018.
Shocking video shows males appearing in front of the camera before attempting to charge and kick the door in an attempt to gain access.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, said she was fast asleep when she heard loud knocks and her daughter’s father telling her to get out of the house.
When the man tried to block the door, the three men managed to break the glass and knock down the door.
The woman has lived at the property for three and a half years and is often homebound after suffering two strokes that left her with a variety of medical problems.
She says she’s lucky someone was in the house with her and believes the gang was targeting vulnerable people in the area.
Shocking video shows singer attacked on stage at The Cavern

A shocking video showing an artist being knocked to the ground while performing at The Cavern Club took social media by storm in 2018.
In the short film filmed on December 29, singer Jay Murray can be seen performing ‘Sweet Caroline’ before a small audience at the Mathew Street club.
A bearded middle-aged man crosses the front of the stage while Jay is performing, before suddenly appearing to the side of the stage.
The man, dressed in jeans and a sweater, then lifted Jay up by his feet and flipped him over onto his stomach, before dropping him to the floor in the strange clip.

He then kicked Jay, while he was lying on the ground, before running off.
Jay then ran after him and the video ended.
Vile man caught kicking dog in midair outside Tesco

In 2017, the camera captured a man kicking a small dog in the air outside Tesco.
The incident occurred on Park Road when Gavin Doolan kicked the brown and white Corgie / Jack Russel cross in his face as he walked.
The animal was lifted into the air by the force of his kick, which was witnessed by another shocked bystander, who confronted the culprit.
The dog appeared to flinch as Doolan angrily responded to concerned members of the public who tried to intervene to protect the animal.
Doolan was arrested and charged before admitting that he had caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and that he had used threatening or abusive words or behavior that could cause alarm or distress.
The dog, who had been lovingly renamed Sconehead by the people who rescued him, was adopted by a new family after the incident.
