Hackney Police said: ‘At 11:55 am on Thursday, December 10, staff at a school on Clissold Road, Stoke Newington #Hackney contacted police.

‘The school had received a bomb threat. The school was evacuated and officers are present. The laces are in place while the police investigate.

Parents took to social media to express their concerns about their children.

One wrote: ‘I got a message from my son saying the police are out of school and everyone has to go to the park.’

Another added: ‘My son said everyone is safe in the park, but none of the teachers know what’s going on.’
