The Met Office has issued a yellow weather advisory for the Southwest as heavy fog is forecast this week.
The warning is in effect from 4 pm today (December 7) until 11 am tomorrow (Tuesday December 8).
Fog is expected to affect parts of Bristol, Bath, Somerset and Gloucestershire.
The Met Office said the fog would lead to some travel disruptions, specifically slower travel times with possible delays in bus and train services.
He added that there could also be the possibility of flight delays or cancellations.
A spokesperson said: “Fog and icy fog will persist and become widespread Monday night, through Tuesday morning.”
“Visibility is likely to be less than 100m in locations that cause difficult driving conditions and some transport disruptions.
“The strange icy stretch is also possible.”
The fog is expected to clear tomorrow afternoon in most areas of the UK.
