Giovanna Fletcher has praised Meghan Markle for speaking so frankly about her miscarriage, saying it was “admirable and surprising” to share such a “raw” experience.

‘I got pregnant very quickly and had this thing in my head that it was too easy. After being worried for so long that it wouldn’t be easy, it just happened.
And then I aborted shortly after that and I think a part of me felt like that would happen, because I felt like it was too easy.
Because I felt like I hadn’t earned it. If that didn’t happen, I wouldn’t have Buzz and Buzz will always be my silver lining. ‘
Giovanna, who is the author of Happy Mum, Happy Baby, also said she hoped that by talking about her miscarriage, other women would feel “less alone.”
