JAKE PAUL eliminated former NBA basketball star Nate Robinson with a brutal KO in the second round.
Robinson planted his face after a right turn in the second round and was knocked unconscious when the fight was finally cut short.
Doctors and the referee rushed to Robinson’s aid before, after more than a minute, he reached a stool.
Such was the brutality of the ending, music legend Snopp Dogg compared it to a ‘Hood fight’.
Robinson had already been knocked down twice before in the embarrassingly one-sided affair.
YouTube sensation Paul embarked on his boxing career with a victory over social media celebrity AnEsonGib in January.
And now he’s made it two for two with an emphatic win, but it will leave questions about how these fights are sanctioned.
The first round was a grim affair, with the referee warning the two ‘boxers’ to stop fighting and ‘throw some punches’.
It was Paul who landed the most significant of these, when he dropped Robinson with a massive forehand late in the round.
And Robinson was face down again in the second round when Paul smashed him with the same shot.
Soon came the third fall, and it was also brutal.
Another turn of the right hand sent Robinson crashing to the canvas and falling asleep.
The 36-year-old lay down for almost a minute before the referee lifted him to a seat.
Speaking after the weigh-in, ‘problem kid’ Paul explained why he is so desperate for success inside the squared circle.
He added: “I love sports, you know. I am cut out for this. And for me, it is an opportunity to prove that people are wrong.
“But it’s something that I fell in love with, something that I’m passionate about, something I’m good at and I’m ready to take the world by storm.”
This was the main prop for Mike Tyson’s epic comeback fight against Roy Jones Jr.
