Pep Guardiola admitted that he was not sure about the timing of Sergio Agüero’s return to the Manchester City team.
The 32-year-old forward has barely played this season due to ongoing problems related to a knee injury.

Pep Guadiola admitted that he is not sure when Sergio Agüero will be able to return from an injury
The Manchester City manager said the forward woke up on Saturday with a knee problem.
‘He woke up with a little knee problem. We know that the injury he had is not easy for recovery.
“We have to handle it as well as possible.” In Aguero’s absence, City had fought for goals before the resounding 5-0 win against Burnley.
Despite the result, Guardiola has warned his forwards that they should start hitting individual targets or sitting on the bench, suggesting that he is ready to ditch the massive rotation in matches over the next month and will only pick players by performances.
Guardiola’s men beat Burnley 5-0 in the absence of Augero with a hat-trick by Riyad Mahrez
“It’s not about rotation now,” Guardiola said. “Players who don’t make mistakes, like John Stones on defense, deserve to play more games.
“Today’s goals help us, of course, especially for Riyad Mahrez. Gabriel Jesús also has to score goals.
Mahrez responded to his critics with a hat-trick, while Guardiola opened both Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden on the bench.
He added: ‘Sterling when he plays he has to score. They have to score more goals. That is why they are here. It depends on the player, on his performance on the field ”.
