There have been 55 new deaths from coronavirus in Greater Manchester hospitals in the past 24 hours, with the highest numbers at the University of Manchester NHS Foundation and the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Foundation.
Both trusts saw 18 new deaths overnight, according to official NHS figures released this afternoon.
The Pennine Acute figures also include Covid deaths at North Manchester General, as well as the Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary, and Fairfield General.
It means the death toll in the region has risen from 3,324 on Wednesday to 3,379.
Tameside and Salford’s Trusts were next with five deaths each and Stockport and Bolton hospitals had two more deaths.

On Wednesday, 35 new deaths from coronavirus were recorded in the previous 24 hours in hospitals in the region.
The total number of deaths from coronavirus in hospital trusts in Greater Manchester, as of Thursday, November 19 is:

- Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust 9 (no change)
- Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust – 618 (600)
- NHS Nightingale Hospital North West – 6 (no change)
- Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust – 940 (922)
- Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust 6 (no change)
- Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust – 288 (283)
- Stockport NHS Foundation Trust – 302 (300)
- Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust – 389 (384)
- The Christie NHS Foundation Trust 17 (no change)
- Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust – 457 (452)
Nationwide, another 346 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died at a hospital in England, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in hospitals to 37,470, NHS England said on Thursday.
The patients were between 35 and 102 years old. All but nine, aged 54 to 99, had known underlying conditions.
The deaths occurred between October 19 and November 18, with the majority occurring on or after November 16.
Nineteen other deaths with no positive Covid-19 test result were reported.
