Pre-order PS5 customers are counting towards the launch of the next-gen PlayStation in the UK.

Available now in the US, PlayStation 5 has a Nov. 19 in the UK, Europe, and other parts of the world.

There are two versions of the new console, including a model with a disc drive and a slightly more expensive drive without it.

Lucky pre-order customers can expect 4K visuals, fast loading times, and backward compatibility with the PS4.

Then there’s the new DualSense controller, which is arguably the best thing about the device. Wonderfully highlighted by Astro’s Playroom launch title, controller features Advanced haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for greater immersion.

Express Online awarded the console a full 5 stars, praising the controller, dash, and launch line of games.

“From launch line to load times, DualSense to dash, the PS5 is an exciting new console that truly feels like a next-gen device,” the Express Online review reads. You can read the full review by clicking the link below.

Of course, what everyone wants to know is whether the PS5 will be available again on launch day. And the good news is that it will.

GAME has confirmed plans to restock the PlayStation 5 when it goes on sale in the UK.

In an email sent to customers, the UK retailer said the units will be available to order online on November 19.

“PS5 Console Order Update: The PS5 Console will be available for online order only on Launch Day, Thursday, November 19,” an email from GAME reads.

“Units will not be available for purchase in the store, please continue to check online for more updates.”

The PS5 will also be available on Amazon, where reports suggest it will go on sale at 12pm GMT.

Currys has confirmed plans to store the PS5 online from 9am GMT UK time on November 19.

“Remember, the PS5 console will be available to order ONLINE ONLY starting at 9am tomorrow,” says a Currys post. “There will be no units available for purchase in the store on Thursday, November 19, please continue to check online for more updates.”

Express Online will update this publication as additional units become available for sale. Good luck.

Of course, there are also a slightly unorthodox way or two to grab a PS5 on launch day.

BT and EE customers can get a PlayStation 5 console through their Add to Plan MyBT and EE accounts.

“BT’s broadband customers can order their PS5, through their MyBT account. Meanwhile, EE mobile customers who pay monthly will also be able to order a console and add the cost to their pricing plan, divided into 11 installments. No interest with Add to Plan the service “, BT explains.

Needless to say, these deals won’t last long, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to get a PS5 at launch.

If you secure a PS5 on launch day, or have already successfully pre-ordered the console, then there are around 30 games available at launch, not to mention all backward-compatible PS4 games.
