A patient died at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of Covid deaths at the hospital to 56.
The latest NHS England data shows there have been 190 more deaths of people who tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths reported in England hospitals to 36,512.
A statement from the NHS England, released today (Monday 16 November) says: “Another 190 people who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in England hospitals to 36,512.
“The patients were between 29 and 100 years old. All but three (65 to 90 years old) had known underlying health problems.
“The date of death is from October 19 to November 15, 2020.

There have been nine more deaths in the east of England, eight in London, 37 in the Midlands, 61 in the North East and Yorkshire, 45 in the North West, 25 in the South East and five in the South West.
It brings the total number of deaths today to 190.
