The Brexit Party leader spoke at a Donald Trump rally last month in Arizona to support the Republican election campaign. Upon his return to the UK, Nigel Farage had to isolate himself due to government travel measures.
During a video posted on his Twitter account, Farage said he “escaped” and was tested for coronavirus even though he was in quarantine.
He explained that the test came back negative, but complained that he has yet to isolate.
Mr Farage added: “That was five days after I returned from the US, it was negative, so there is no earthly reason why I should be quarantined for another five days and yet it is the government rules that summarize this Insanity.
“I mean what a mess and you can read today’s newspapers and you can believe what you want to believe, but here are the facts.
“We are going through the greatest peacetime economic crisis in history, the clock is ticking until the end of the Brexit negotiations and yet the girls and boys of Westminster are busy playing games.
“All trying to stab themselves in the back.”
It comes after Farage requested to change the name of the Brexit Party to Reform UK with the aim of focusing on addressing the government’s “regrettable” response to the coronavirus.
England’s second blockade “would result in more loss of life years than it hopes to save,” Farage says.

During his Twitter video, Farage continued to speak about Dominic Cummings, who left Downing Street following internal battles over his role as the Prime Minister’s top adviser.
Farage called Cummings “arrogant” and said “his entire career and success were based on Brexit.”
He said: “To be honest, I never really liked the guy. It wasn’t just the scruffy one, it was the fact that he was actually quite arrogant.
Was he a genius? No, he’s not really a genius, but he’s certainly brilliant. “
Mr. Farage said the departure of Mr. Cummings and Downing Street Communications Director Lee Cain is “bad news.”
He added: “With those leaving Downing Street, who is really going to influence Boris over the course of the next few days and weeks?”
Later, Farage claimed that Johnson cannot make decisions and that “he has always been concerned about short-term unpopularity.”
He said Johnson’s fiancée Carrie Symonds will be a huge influence on the Prime Minister now that Cummings and Cain are gone.
On Sunday, he told Sky News that “the time is very, very short” to agree on a Brexit deal.
But he said the sticking points over a UK-EU trade deal “can be resolved” to create a deal.
Negotiations between the UK and the EU will resume on Monday in Brussels.
