Max George has become the third celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing during Sunday’s results show.
The 32-year-old singer Wanted and his dance partner Dianne Buswell took on Maisie Smith and her pro Gorka Márquez at the dance.
While they received a modest score of 20 after their Harry Connick Jr’s American Smooth to It Had To Be You, Max and Dianne’s efforts weren’t enough to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood and understudy Anton du Beke.

Craig and Anton, who stands in for regular judge Motsi Mabuse while she isolates herself in Germany, decided to save Maisie and Gorka, while head judge Shirley revealed that she would have chosen Max and Dianne.
