A gunman shot another man in the leg before shoving a milkman and stealing his truck to escape.
Daniel Evans, of Chirkdale Street, Walton, carried out the shooting after having a fight with a woman in the early morning of October 14, 2019.
Evans has been described as a “very dangerous man” who carried out a “gruesome crime”.
The 25-year-old attacked the woman’s brother after he helped his sister move out of the Evans home on Denbigh Drive, Winsford, Cheshire.
Soon after, Evans returned to the property and shot the brother, a 26-year-old man from Winsford, Cheshire Live reports.
The bullet went through the victim’s calf and lodged in a door handle.
Evans then left management before shoving a milkman and fleeing the area in his refrigerated van.

The man who was shot was taken to Leighton Hospital in an ambulance.
After receiving treatment for the gunshot wound, he was discharged the next day.
Officers investigating the incidents identified Evans as the offender.
He was arrested in Liverpool on Saturday December 7 last year after a sustained manhunt.
After refusing to answer any questions in custody, Evans was charged with intentionally causing serious bodily injury, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, assault by hitting, and intimidating a witness in connection with the brothers.
He was also charged with taking a motor vehicle without consent and assaulting the milkman and causing him actual bodily harm in connection with the theft of the refrigerated van.
Evans admitted to taking the refrigerated van without consent, but pleaded not guilty to all other charges.
A jury convicted Evans of GBH and firearms crimes after a four-day trial at Chester Crown Court.

Evans was found not guilty of assaulting the woman.
The charge of assault against the milkman was ordered to be closed and the charge of intimidating a witness was suspended on the instruction of the judge.
Evans received a 20-year sentence, consisting of 15 years in prison and five years on leave.

“The agent on the case, Detective Kelly Mitchell, deserves special praise for her concentration and tenacity.
Evans’s gruesome actions in the early hours of Monday, October 14, 2019 show that he is a very dangerous man.
“Evans had access to a viable firearm and demonstrated that he is willing to cause serious harm to others.
“When he sentenced Evans in Liverpool Crown Court, Judge Nicholas Woodward described him as a ‘dangerous’ man with a ‘criminal record.’
“He said that it is ‘inevitable that victims in such cases will be caused a significant degree of harm’ and that ‘the impact of such crimes is lasting.’
“Fortunately, the man Evans shot has physically recovered from the injury he sustained.
“As the judge said, it’s just ‘good luck’ that he hasn’t suffered a more serious injury.
“The consequences of the firearm incident could have been much worse.”
Evans stole the refrigerated van on Gladstone Street, Winsford.
It was recovered on Station Road in the city in the days after the shooting.
Investigations are ongoing in an attempt to find the gun he used.
