An international gang stole £ 26 million in “fabulous jewelery and hard cash” from the homes of F1 heiress Tamara Ecclestone and Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, according to a court.

Four people, described as “secondary cast” of the assailants, are on trial, including a Romanian prostitute who allegedly posted a photo of her wearing a stolen necklace.

The Isleworth Crown Court in West London heard the alleged robbers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, beaten three times last December.

£ 25 million worth of goods were taken from Mrs Ecclestone’s mansion near Kensington Palace.

Tamara is reported to have been shocked by the robbery.

They also stole £ 60,000 worth of valuables from Lampard’s house in Chelsea and obtained a loot of £ 1 million from the late Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

London-based Alexandru Stan, 49, Sorin Marcovici, 53, Bogdan Savastru, 30 and his mother Maria Mester, 47, deny the conspiracy.

Timothy Cray, prosecutor, said: “Every star needs a supporting cast and … that’s how these defendants are.”

He added that most of the loot, “mainly in fabulous jewelry and hard cash,” was gone.

The trial continues.
