A city center street is cordoned off tonight as officers respond to an incident near Liverpool’s seafront.
Water Street is secluded between Covent Garden and The Strand, with police filming the road, bike path, and paved area.
Several police vehicles are currently on the scene, including scientific support vehicles for forensic officers, who are currently combing the area.
The exact nature of this ongoing incident in the city center has yet to be confirmed, but it is understood that the Merseyside Police Force Incident Manager has been reported.
