EA has yet to unveil the next-gen builds of FIFA 21, but it has posted a couple of screenshots that give us a good look at some sweaty faces of virtual footballers.

In a tweet, EA showed images of Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Atlético de Madrid’s wonder boy João Félix, and very detailed as well.

FIFA 21 is out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S on December 4. EA has said that these next-gen versions have “blazing fast” load times and new player details with delayed lighting and rendering. The PS5 version will also make use of the DualSense controller haptic technology, but we don’t know how yet.

As already announced, current generation owners get a free next generation update through the Dual Entitlement program. (Buyers of physical discs should contact EA at help.ea.com to obtain an upgrade code for discless consoles.) However, only Ultimate Team and Volta progress is carried over. Progress in career mode, for example, no. EA explained why recently.
