The president’s supporters are looking to Trump’s successor after he lost the election to Democrat Joe Biden this week. Ivanka, 39, has served as a White House adviser since 2017, while Donald Jr, 42, and Eric, 36, took over the Trump Organization while their father served as president. The president has refused to grant Mr. Biden the election, claiming that the race was “rigged” because of the ballots mailed without evidence. American commentators have also touted Ivanka as the person who will urge her father to step aside and grant the choice.
Sarah Baxter of the Times asked voter Lauren Ganser who she thought would replace the outgoing president.
Ms. Ganser praised Ivanka as the next choice for the Republican nomination, saying, “I think he’s brilliant. She would be a fantastic candidate. “
He also said of Donald Jr: “People say he’s a rich and conceited kid, but he was down to earth when I met him.
But I prefer Ivanka. She has a more balanced keel and a more sensitive and affectionate aura about her. “

Social media has also been plagued with rumors about Trump’s successor since Biden won 290 votes in the electoral college, securing him the presidency.
Nick Rocco, a Trump supporter, told the New York Times: “I hope Don, Ivanka and Eric eventually run.
“I guarantee you, if you had 69 million Trump supporters and you said, ‘Would you be nice to Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump as president?’ a lot of people would be 100 percent behind that. “
Republican strategist Seth Weathers also endorsed Donald Jr, adding on Twitter: “Don Jr 2024!”

Brad Parscale, Trump’s former campaign manager, also added on social media in September: “The Trumps will be a dynasty that will last decades.”
The betting odds promote Donald Jr as the most likely successor in 2024, with Coral and Ladbrokes giving odds of 33/1 for Trump’s eldest son to take over.
Donald Jr. has been on the defensive since Biden won the presidency, repeating his father’s accusations that the election was rigged.
He said on Twitter: “We went from 4 years when Russia manipulated the elections, to when the elections cannot really be manipulated, can we?”

Trump reportedly wanted Ivanka to be his running mate in 2016, according to Rick Gates, a former campaign MP.
He quoted the president in his book saying: “I think it should be Ivanka. What about Ivanka as my vice president?
Later, Gates wrote: “We all knew Trump well enough to keep our mouths shut and not laugh.
“He continued: ‘She is bright, smart, beautiful and people would love her!”

Republicans have also suggested Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson as the next head of the Republican Party for 2024.
Luke Thompson, a Republican strategist, hailed the host as a “formidable” candidate for president.
Rich Lowry, editor of the conservative National Review, added: “There is at least one significant faction within the Republican Party in which he has a great interest and possibly his leadership.
“If you have political ambitions, you have a chance. He has a following and a taste for controversy.
“He’s smart, fast, and personable. Political experience matters less than before. “
