A man was fined £ 10,000 for hosting a party with 60 people inside his two-bedroom apartment.
Police received reports of a disturbance at a residential property in Manchester city center around 12.30am last Sunday.
Officers said they found between 50 and 60 people inside the two-bedroom property at The Works in Withy Grove, and none of them socially distanced themselves or covered their faces.
Music was also played through a sound system that included commercial-size speakers.
Following a review of the evidence, the 38-year-old organizer received a fixed fine notice (FPN) of £ 10,000 on Friday for violating the requirement not to hold, or participate in, a gathering of more than 30 people. in a private home.

Kent police said the illegal gathering broke up around 1.30am on Thursday, just after the new lockdown measures went into effect in England.
