Pictures show fireworks launched from the window of an apartment in Nottingham city center on Bonfire Night.
A witness who sent footage to Nottinghamshire Live said fireworks were being fired from the floors of the Victoria Center.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, all public fireworks displays have been canceled, but people can still do them in their own home gardens.
The NHS has urged Bonfire Night to be different this year, but “it is important to have fun responsibly.”
The service wants people to avoid injury by following the safety instructions provided if handling fireworks at home.
The emergency services have also urged people who want to enjoy the night to take precautions.
It comes as there is a dispersal order in downtown Newark after a series of incidents of antisocial behavior overnight on Wednesday, November 4.
Police received a report of antisocial behavior outside Asda on Lombard Street around 7:10 p.m., then fireworks were reportedly set off in the market an hour later. There were also reports of youth groups causing annoyance to members of the public.
A 12-hour dispersal order has been authorized and took effect at 3:00 p.m. today (Thursday, November 5).
