Nigel Farage lost his temper with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain when the pair became embroiled in a fierce live feud.
The 56-year-old right-wing politician appeared on the show to talk about the US elections, but things turned ugly between the two ‘friends’ when Piers questioned his opinion on Trump’s comment on the injection of sanitizer for fight the coronavirus.
US President Trump was criticized by the medical community in April after appearing to propose injecting disinfectant into the skin.
Piers pointed to the comment and referred to Trump’s suggestion to inject bleach into the skin.
But Nigel was furious at the comment and demanded that Piers “grow up” and “stop talking nonsense.”
He went on to accuse Piers of “sinking into the gutter” and called the interview the “minor interview” he had done in 20 years.
“[Trump] “I didn’t talk about the word bleach,” Nigel enraged. “We are talking about the person who will become the leader of the Western world.”
“I don’t think the president is there and telling people to inject bleach [is good]”Piers replied and when Nigel continued to insist that he hadn’t said bleach, the Trump clip was replayed.
Piers pointed out that the disinfectant was bleach and Nigel kept repeating that he had not emphatically said bleach.
Nigel snapped, “No wonder your viewers are dwindling.”
Susanna Reid chimed in and pointed out, “They’re not going down, they’re going up! That’s fake news!”
“This is the lowest grade interview I’ve done in 20 years,” Nigel raged. “I have better things to do than this.
“Piers, play your silly games!”
