Diogo Jota was in top form against Atalanta for Liverpool, scoring his first hat-trick for the club since signing for them in the transfer window.
It came in a 5-0 demolition of the Serie A team, which puts the Reds in a dominant position in their Champions League group.
After three wins out of three, they are almost through and fans can thank Jota for his excellent finish.
Also taking part in the event were Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, reminding everyone that Liverpool’s fearsome attackers are not done yet.
It comes in light of Roberto Firmino’s ax from the first team, which would have been unthinkable with Klopp last season.
However, Jota has given the Brazilian reason to be concerned and the Portuguese forward has also stated that he has good relations with his attacking partners.
When asked about Salah and Mane, he said: “Obviously two world class players.
“We all know that their quality makes it easier for me to do my job because they are outstanding players and I think we had a great game together today.”
Jota’s hat-trick takes him to seven of ten for the Reds this season.
No one has scored that many in their first 10 Liverpool appearances since Robbie Fowler in 1993.
Pressed on his form, Jota said: “Well, I’m playing for the best team of my career, for sure.
“I don’t know if it’s my best moment, but obviously scoring goals is my way of playing football.
“I’m very happy with this. Great away win in the Champions League. Good timing, good evening.”
Rio Ferdinand praised the former Wolves leader, telling BT Sport: “Jota was at Wolves last season, they play as fast and aggressive as they do at Liverpool.
“And by that I mean tight spaces, especially in training, where you build confidence, the balls come in at a different rate. Different angles, lowering it, one touch, everything is faster.

“Sometimes even at United when we were flying, there were players who came in and thought it took them six months to catch up.
“Now, today I don’t know if the players can pay for six months. Because by the time six months come they have already bought someone else.
“It can be difficult. You have to have the quality to raise the bar.”
