Roy Keane believes that the Manchester United players will be able to fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and he emphatically concluded that “this team is not good enough” after their loss to Arsenal.
In a withering recap of United’s lousy start to the campaign, Keane told Sky Sports: “We were almost building this season as a hit or miss for Ole, but right now it doesn’t look good for him. Target the players who don’t they have enthusiasm for a soccer game.
“Sometimes you say ‘there is no reason to panic’. But the results and the performances suggest that you should panic. He says they are good guys and they want to win, but I judge a player by his actions. My eyes do not. After six games of the new season, United are only 15th in the Premier League table and have already suffered three defeats, all at Old Trafford.
“I’m very, very worried about Manchester United right now,” Keane said after a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty ensured the Gunners a well-deserved victory.
“Where do you want me to start? Lack of energy, enthusiasm and a real lack of quality. That really worried me. No quality, no composure.
“Some of the performances were really bad. Did they turn a corner? It’s the longest corner in history. I’m just not convinced by these players.

“I don’t see any leaders out there. There is a real lack of quality. There is a long way back for this club.”
United created just a single chance to score a goal during the 90 minutes, with the Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood partnership missing.
“I looked at Rashford closely today. His body language was shocking,” Keane continued. “Did he shrug when things didn’t go his way? You roll up your sleeves when you play for Manchester United.”
Neville: Ole faces tough decisions

Gary Neville admitted that “there are more problems than solutions” after seeing Solskjaer return to a 4-2-3-1 at halftime after the very successful diamond formation in the Champions League failed.
And he warned the United boss that rather than shoehorn players into a system, he was facing big calls from some of his biggest stars.
“You have six midfielders in the club: Nemanja Matic, Fred, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Donny Van de Beek and Paul Pogba and somehow you have to put them in a system, which forces Ole to play a diamond.
“I think there was an element where he thought he could put four players on that diamond and it would work after what happened midweek, but Scott McTominay, on the right side, didn’t work after five minutes. You have to be comfortable moving into that wide area; Aaron Wan-Bissaka is already a bit uncomfortable with the ball on the right side, so he needs someone to balance him and balancing on the right is a real problem for United.
“When Greenwood left, it was even worse. They wanted Jadon Sancho to obviously play on that side and it seems like a big mistake to fail to draft that position.
“Changing systems, players, having enough in one position and not enough in others is a real problem. Manchester United full-backs are not the best attacking full-backs in the world.
