Back between the clean sheets after a fairly simple night.

Palace had a few moments up front but never really bothered the Portuguese, who only had to make a couple of routine saves. 7

Very lucky after he hit Van Aanholt for a penalty, which was later disallowed due to the Dutchman being offside in preparation.

It also couldn’t connect with a free header at first, but it seemed stable enough overall. 7

Another guaranteed departure from the boss, who seems to have reached another level of confidence after his exploits in England.

He came up with some good blocks and is such a brilliant leader. 8

A big enough call from Nuno to stay with him about Saiss, but it was one that was worth it.

Kilman seems to be getting better with each passing game. At home in the Premier League now. 8

His best outing in the Wolves jersey so far, hands down.

He looked like a threat to the front foot, whistling a shot in the first half very wide, and did his job on defense as well. An elegant display. 8

Nuno had asked for some of his more established players to improve, and Neves certainly did against the Eagles.

He passed the ball with his usual precision, but with much more speed. I like it much more. 8

A very busy performance in the middle of the park.

He made some timely tackles to put the Wolves on the attack and came close to scoring on a few occasions. 8

Magnificent. Dream debut for the French!

He put the Wolves in the lead with a tremendous left-footed shot, kept Townsend calm and continued to make his presence felt going forward.

Maybe a little lucky not to give away a penalty for a challenge to Zaha but, all things considered, he was outstanding.

It’s the early days, but if Ait-Nouri continues with something like that, the Wolves have another young jewel on their hands. 9

Portuguese is getting better and better.

He got an assist while playing a wonderful cross for Podence to finish, and could have had a couple more as he delivered excellent deliveries for both Boly and Dendoncker.

Ran surrounds Van Aanholt at times and it is a pleasure to see him. 9

Not in his devastating prime but, thankfully, he didn’t need to be as others approached the goal.

He still played his role in the second goal and had a few shots. 7

You will be happy and relieved to be off the mark for the season.

Podence really deserved that goal and he also came up with the assist for Ait-Nouri, crossing to the far post where the left-back did the rest sublimely.

Teams just can’t handle it right now. 9

I saw a shot go straight to Guaita. 6

On the receiving end of an eventual red card challenge from Milivojevic. 6

Not used: Ruddy (gk), Hoever, Saiss, Otasowie
