A murder victim spent his final hours shopping and drinking vodka with the friend who would later stab him to death.

Slawomir kulesza was seen on CCTV at a convenience store with the killer Arkadiusz Kaczmarek shortly before 11pm on May 1.

The couple then headed to the house they shared on Blakemere Court in Ellesmere Port, where they drank for a few hours.

Around 1 a.m., a neighbor woke up to loud noises in the house before Kaczmarek, 22, was seen walking down Westminster Road with a bloody kitchen knife.

After throwing it at the foot of a metal fence that he climbed, he went to sleep in the front yard of a house on Worcester Walk.

A passerby saw it and reported it to the owner.

The couple confronted Kaczmarek, who fled the area on foot before being stopped by the two officers in the police car around 3 a.m.

They tried to question Kaczmarek about the blood on his clothes, but found that he spoke very little English.

Agents entered to check that Kaczmarek and his friend were safe.

They also wanted to see Kaczmarek’s ID.

Arkadiusz Kaczmarek went to a store with Slawomir Kulesza to buy vodka a few hours before killing one’s father.

After searching the house and finding Slawomir lying on his back in a pool of blood, they began giving him CPR and calling an ambulance.

Later, paramedics took over CPR but, despite the best efforts of everyone involved, Slawomir was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3:30 a.m.

Kaczmarek was arrested at the home and a murder investigation was launched.

A post-mortem examination revealed that Slawomir died from multiple stab wounds.

The knife used to inflict the wounds was found by a member of the public on Sunday, May 3.

Slawomir Kulesza, father of one, aged 47, was stabbed to death by his friend Arkadiusz Kaczmarek in their shared house in Ellesmere Port.

After a nine-day trial, a jury found Kaczmarek guilty of murder and he was placed in preventive custody to be sentenced on Friday, October 30.

David Keane, Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner, said: As this case shows, the consequences of getting drunk and using a knife as a weapon can be devastating for everyone involved.

“This heinous crime was committed by a formerly law abiding citizen.

“My condolences to the family of the victim. I hope this conviction, and the fact that your killer is now facing the consequences of his terrible actions, brings you some comfort. “

Detective Inspector Kate Tomlinson said: “” Kaczmarek’s actions on the night of Friday May 1 were completely misplaced.

“This was his first offense and he committed it after drinking an excessive amount of alcohol.

“Kaczmarek has always claimed that he was so drunk that he cannot remember what happened, so we may never know what led him to stab his housemate multiple times that night.

“Our thoughts are with the family of the victim and we hope that this case will deter others from using knives and committing similar crimes.”

Arkadiusz Kaczmarek, was convicted of murdering his friend and roommate Slawomir Kulesza, 47, at his home in Blakemere Court, Ellesmere Port

“I would like to thank members of the public who have helped secure the murder conviction and bring Kaczmarek to justice.

“I would also like to thank the officers who have been involved in this case for all their hard work.

“Our main investigation team has worked tirelessly to gather vital evidence and reconstruct the case.

“This included speaking to witnesses, collecting and viewing CCTV footage, and conducting forensic investigations.”
