Piers Morgan criticized CNN for canceling its interview with the network after it said they and other American media outlets were being biased for not covering a story about a laptop that supposedly belonged to Hunter Biden.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends on Friday morning, Morgan was shown clips of journalists, including CNN’s Jake Tapper, dismissing the allegations as false.

In turn, the editor-at-large of DailyMail.com said that journalists in the US were being ‘hyper-partisan’ for not reporting or investigating the story.

Hours later, Morgan confirmed that her appearance in the promotion for her new CNN book Wake Up on Reliable Sources, which aired on Sunday, would no longer be produced.

“The last time I appeared on this show, I appeared after writing a series of negative columns about Trump,” he told DailyMail.com.

“They were willing to accept me when I was negative, but not so much when I was a little more positive.”

He added that he believes that the majority of the news outlets probably have not investigated the story because, if they do, it could lead to revelations that would cause the Democrats to lose the presidential election.

Morgan told DailyMail.com that CNN spent at least a month asking him to appear on the show.

He said he had a ‘strange feeling’ that his appearance might be canceled, but was still very surprised by the move.

‘Maybe they were worried that I I wouldn’t hit Trump how they want to, and that’s what my book in itself is about: illiberal liberals who want to cancel anyone who does not suit their agenda, “he said.

Morgan said CNN producers also told him it was canceled because they were allegedly able to hire someone else: the executive editor of The Associated Press.

‘I just pointed out that it doesn’t matter if you are pro-Trump or anti-Trump. A major newspaper has published serious allegations, none of which have been denied by Joe Biden or Hunter Biden, ‘he said.

They deserve to be investigated. The biased liberal media seems to have taken the view that if they investigate … the Democrats can lose the election.

‘ThThat is a political calculation, not a journalistic calculation. If a story like that breaks, they have to investigate ‘

The laptop in question, which contains damning emails and compromising photos, damning emails and compromising photos of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son, which were delivered to the New York Post by President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Guiliani.

Many reporters have questioned the validity of the story because the emails have not been independently verified, but Morgan said this is simply due to partisan politics.

“The fact that they are not investigating is a hyperpartisan approach of the American media,” he said.

He also argued that many more media outlets would be covering the story if the laptop was reported to belong to Donald Trump Jr rather than Hunter Biden.

‘If you went to replace Biden’s name with Donald Trump Jr, the Very liberal and biased media would be all over the place like a rash, Morgan said.

During his appearance on Fox & Friends, Morgan also commented on Thursday night’s presidential debate between Trump and Biden, saying it was very different from the first debate two weeks ago.

“What struck me was that Donald Trump had a much more measured tone. It was like putting on a muzzle, he tamed himself the kind of ranting beast that we saw in the first debate and it was so much more effective, ” he said.

“He was more effective in exposing the flaws of his opponent, Joe Biden … He allowed people to focus much more clearly on Joe Biden.”

The Good Morning Britain co-host said Trump repeatedly managed, but calmly, to ask Biden why he failed to achieve many of the goals he promised he would do if elected during his time as vice president under former President Barack Obama.

The subject of Hunter Biden’s emails also came up in the debate Thursday night.

“All the e-mails, the e-mails, the horrible e-mails of the kind of money he was racking up,” Trump said.

And Joe, you were vice president when any of this happened.

“ And I think you owe an explanation to the American people, why, someone just had a press conference a while ago, and they were supposed to essentially work with you and your family, but what they said was damning, ” Trump said. . in reference to Tony Bobulinski, a former Hunter Biden business partner, who claimed to have proof that the former vice president was aware of his son’s business dealings with China

In turn, Biden pointed to a recent New York Times report alleging that Trump had a secret bank account in China and has barely paid taxes.

“We learned that this president paid 50 times the tax in China, he has a secret bank account with China, he does business in China,” Biden said. ‘

Publish your tax returns or stop talking about corruption. ‘
